Atman, Beyond.pl, Data4, Equinix and 3S, owners and operators of the largest data centers in Poland, have joined forces to strengthen the potential of the Polish data center industry, educate the market and build new jobs by working with authorities, legislative changes and leveraging the experience of similar organizations in Europe.

The guarantees of origin from RES that Atman purchased cover 100% of the electricity consumed by Atman Data Centers, including the equipment of colocation customers, the farm of 3000 dedicated servers, as well as Atman Cloud, Backup and Object Storage platforms.

Atman’s Internet exchange point Thinx IX has permanently joined in the “1 Tb Club” – the daily total usage of the Thinx backbone regularly exceeds 1 Tbps and shows a steady upward trend. Also, we acquired TikTok, Disney+, Steam, Gigalink and Microsoft, among others.

Atman has purchased a 5.5-hectare plot of land to build another data center campus. Atman Data Center Warsaw-3, with a target IT capacity of 43 MW, is scheduled to open in Q4 2024. Ultimately, it will consist of 3 buildings housing a total of 36 data halls, i.e. nearly 19,000 sqm of colocation space.

DE-CIX announced partnerships with 4 operators of Internet exchanges in Central and South-Eastern Europe. Poland is represented by Atman, which uniquely combines the potential of professional data centrs and a versatile, high-performance telecommunications infrastructure, including Thinx IX.

We are expanding the power connections for Atman Data Center Warsaw-1. Additional 2×15 MW will increase the total power capacity of our data centers up to almost 75 MW.

Atman has lowered the Cloud Connect prices for connections to global cloud regions in Warsaw, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. In addition, it has introduced the option of testing the service for a month before closing a long-time contract.

In 2021 Atman increased its share in the data center market in Poland to 15%, gaining 4% compared to 2020. PMR’s report “Data Center Market in Poland 2022” confirms Atman’s unwavering 10-year leadership in terms of DC space capacity for colocation and hosting services.
