At the end of 2024 we successfully passed the second DCOS certification surveillance audit in the five disciplines covered by Atman Data Centers in Warsaw. Designed specifically for data centers, the DCOS standard comprehensively supports data center management in the broadest sense, including proper facility maintenance.
Atman Data Center WAW-1 and WAW-2 operate in accordance with the Data Centre Operations Standard DCOS:2021, developed by EPI. To date, we are the only company in Europe to have received EPI-DCOS certification.
Our data centers are certified in 5 of the total 11 disciplines defined in the DCOS, each achieving the highest possible level of maturity, DCOS-4. These disciplines are
- Security Management
- Service Level Management
- Data Center Operations
- Facilities Management
- Monitoring/Reporting/Control
DCOS:2021 is a comprehensive set of best practices and guidelines for the management and operation of data centers, providing the foundation for the effective and secure operation of such facilities. It covers aspects such as: resource and service management, cyclical checks and maintenance of data center systems, maintenance and physical security of facilities, and more.
The DCOS-4 certification guarantees that Atman’s procedures as a data center operator are well defined, their application is documented on an ongoing basis, and their quality and adequacy is continuously monitored. This approach to data center management and maintenance results in the security and exceptional availability of the services provided at Atman Data Centers WAW-1 and WAW-2 in Warsaw.
The next DCOS:2021 recertification audit will be conducted by EPI in the fall of 2025.
