Raport: Polish Data Center Market 2025-2030, PMR & Atman Insight
The material is based on the PMR Market Experts report “The Data Centre Market in Poland: Analysis and Development Forecasts for 2025–2030”.
Poland’s Data Center Market Doubled in Three Years
In 2024, the total available capacity on the commercial data center market in Poland reached 200 MW. Since 2021, the market has experienced accelerated development – doubling its capacity in just three years. The year 2023 set a new record, with a staggering 43% year-on-year growth.
PMR’s projections under a dynamic investment scenario indicate that Poland’s data center capacity will triple within the next six years. Notably, utilization rates remain significantly higher among large-scale facilities, as most new developments are nearly fully pre-leased. A prime example is Atman, which achieved an occupancy rate of 89% before launching its new facility in 2025.
Atman Remains the Market Leader
The balance of power in the market did not change significantly in 2024. Atman remains the leader of the colocation market in Poland. The ranking of the key market players, combined with the power allocation and data center space in relation to the occupancy rate, demonstrates the leader’s dominance over other companies in the market. In terms of gross server resources held, Atman’s market share stood at 10% (21.7k m2) in Q1 2025 (net floor space share of Atman was approx. 2 p.p. higher). After launching two large data centers, EdgeConneX rose to second place on the list. It is followed by Orange, T-Mobile, Equinix Polsat Plus Group, and DATA4. It is worth noting that, in this case, the telecommunications operators’ facilities are not purely commercial. This is a quite essential distinction, as large telecoms need vast colocation space in various locations to maintain their own systems.
